The banner looks rather empty at the moment. I suggest to add a non-intrusive background image to the banner, right justified, as described in TWiki:Codev/ModernizePatternSkin

SVN:8146 adds placeholder artwork. i'm browsing through http://images.google.com/images?q=dakar&hl=en&btnG=Search+Images to see if i can find something more apropriate.
