The VarPARENTBC always outputs a » (right-pointing double angle quotation mark), not just between parents. A » is also shown if there is no parent set.

This will result in two » » if you prefix the PARENTBC with a custom home link.

This fixes the issue: » is only shown between parents, and is omitted if the topic has no parent.
