How to reproduce in TWiki-6.0.0, Mon, 14 Oct 2013, build 26523, Plugin API version 6.00:

  • Install TWiki 6.0.0 with Apache authentication (as provided from TWiki:Codev.ApacheConfigGenerator) and login Manager ApacheLogin
  • Register a user
  • Reset Password
  • Try to Change Password... endless loop for TWiki.ChangePassword

Note: To my surprise, the problem does not appear in SVN trunk (rev 28661). A visible difference between 6.0.0 and rev 28661 is that the latter shows 404 status codes in Apache's access log, followed by 200 status codes for the same URL (e.g. bin/manage) after authentication. I thought this is related to the changes in Item7320, but these changes pre-date 6.0.0, so this isn't the whole truth.
