In viewPDF method GenPDFAddOn checks if topics given in hftopic and titletopic exists without checking if any of those preferences has been set. This is fine with any ordinary Web, i.e. with WebHome topic, since that's what returned by TWiki::Func::topicExists when preferences are not set.

Additionally, somewhere else existence of both preferences is checked, just before reading actual data, so it is somewhat an inconsistency.

One more thing - <NOP>viewPDF method reference oops templates which don't exist in the TWiki version we run.
