Error with ImageGalleryPlugin

I've found an error in this plugin with handling file-names.

It's a german text about the uploading-process, but you'll see, what I mean:

Die Datei wurde hochgeladen und ordnungsgemäß an das NorbertKressImagePlugin Topic angehängt. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Dateiname von

ORIGINAL filenname:	"LOGO L+S - Leistungsstark + Sachkompetent (transparent) - NK, 04.10.07.jpg"

CHANGED to:	"LOGO__LS_-_Leistungsstark__Sachkompetent_transparent_-_NK_04.10.07.jpg"

First part is the original filename. So TWiki is changing the "spaces" to "underscores AND - that should be the problem - file has also "dots" in the name; in my case for the date.

The ImageGallery isn't showing these files??
