The logins to our LDAP directory are in camel case, i.e. exactly the wiki word. Logging on and fetching the groups and memberships view LDAP works fine (the
TWikiGroups lists the right users). However, if the access controls of a web is set to a LDAP group, the user is not recognised as being a member of the group anymore!
Now the strange part: if the user logs on with "MyLogin" - he may not access the webs where the permissions are set for the group. If he logs on with "mylogin", everything is fine!
I guess there is somewhere a call to
lc
missing - or too much!

Note, that e.g. the comment plug-in handles access control somehow in a different way: whilst access rights for view and edit are fine when logging in with a lower-case user name, adding comments does not work in any way!
