I go a message " Template "alertsnohtml" not found" when requesting a password reset for an user with a badly formed entry (due to some ldap misconfig)
It seems from the code that although templates/oopsalerts.tmpl is included in the distrib (4.2.0rc2), it should also have a templates/oopsalertsnohtml.tmpl
that it cannot find.
I guess the fix is to just check in this file in the distrib

I have lost the original file, but IIRC it's just:
%{ This is a default template. Inline alerts, embedded in plain text. }%
%TMPL:INCLUDE{"messages"}%
%INSTANTIATE%
Could you check this in your environment, and check in if that's right?

cool, it seems to work perfectly well. Thanks Crawford!

I fear there is a misunderstanding here.
I think Crawford wanted Colas to check-in the file on SVN if it passes the test. Remember to also add it to lib/MANIFEST

Hoping for more 'release blockers' of this kind.
