Item5168: Put back the Know web and include the Sample applications

Then move all of the useful Sample Applications and pages that are currently in the Sandbox web at twiki.org into the Know Web - do this in the release AND at twiki.org.

I see all of these Sample Applications in the Sandbox. They're not part of the release and, being in the Sandbox, they're just waiting to be deleted or damaged.

Make these samples part of the TWIki documentation. Keep the Sandbox for experimentation (and scribbling)

99% of admins would see this as yet another upgrade/install hassle - having to remove such a web - so there is no way this web gets part of the distribution. This has been discussed before.

There is a decision to add an "Apps" web to twiki.org

The work on this will be something I personally will focus on. But first we need 4.2.0 out and that takes everybody's energy right now.

I disagree about 99% of admins. Installing (or not instaling) a web is a trivial decision. A "nobrainer" as it were.

But the "Apps" web at twiki.org solves my immediate desire to not lose things that are currently in the "Sandbox".As an admin / user I can always find these on twiki.org. That matters more.
