I don't think so.

I think we have two problems.

In 4.1.2 configure is looking at the headers received from Apache (twiki.org) and if it does not match a specific type AND if it is not the last line in the headers configure rejects the file. This check is soo aggresive and should be replaced by a simple check if there is a zip or tgz file with that suffix. Looking for mime type in a header is not a good way because this depends on apache settings and maybe also by chance and additionally proxies can add headers.
