Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

The layout of the search topics is too crowded and long overdue for a small redesign.

WebSearch done in 6167. -- AC

thank you Arthur! MW

Michael, you've made the input field really small again. The former width was possible on 800x600 screen on Explorer Windows. AC
I've made the width somewhere in between (40) (50%) (40). Should work well now even with 800x600 and large font.

WebSearchAdvanced done in 6212 and 6213.

  • Moved colors to style.css, so other skin authors may implement own colors. In SVN 6225. -- AC

TODO: Improve copy of SearchHelp

-- AC

I've updated WebSearchAdvanced to show the results on the same page instead of a new page, but now the results are way down - still not ideal. I suggest to make a WebSearchResults page that copies part of WebSearchAdvanced but has toggable options folded in. As soon as we have a working twisty script. -- AC

2 bugs have been introduced: Item399 and Item401. -- AC

then we can close this. good. CC
