Pattern skin provides a nice utility to grow the text area. But when one clicks "Checkpoint" the text area goes back to the default size. That is frustrating for a user, and not really expected.

Can we pass the current text area size as a hidden parameter across the save script?

TW

The setting is saved in a client side cookie, and is set at clicking the button.

Anyone else who experiences problems here?

I use this feature all the time. I rezise my edit window and I use checkpoint.

And the window size is kept very nicely both within current session and next time I open my browser. I use Firefox and I use IE. And it works both places.

My guess is that TW has used a browser where cookies has been turned off.

It is very smart that this feature is kept in a cookie and not at the server.

First the size is not a session thing. It is something that should be kept even if I come back 5 days later.

Second the size depends on which computer I use. My laptop has one size. My desktop another. The meeting room computer another. It is nice that the size is stored in the cookie on the client computer.
