If you are viewing a topic that has access control restriction so that you have to be authenticated and in a suitable group to view it, and then log out, you get into an interesting anomalous situation.
The logout redirects you to the page, but you cant view it since you're not authenticated.
Now I would expect an "oops" for access control or a redirect to login, but it seems what happens is that I get an an offer to create a new topic using
WebTopicNonWikiTemplate.
But the topic already exists!
I'm flagging this because it happened, but I'm not sure of the boundary conditions, if its DENYWEB/TOPIC =
TWikiGuest or and explicit ALLOW that is being violated.
I'll continue to experiment.
yes, please - on the system I was working on, i did not get this - I got the accesscontrol oops -- SD
With
TemplateLogin /
ApacheHtpasswd I get login then access_denied, can't reproduce (tried a few different combinations of DENY / ALLOW for webs and topics, not sure what your case was exactly, Anton?).
Please re-open with more details, perhaps zip and upload minimal web demonstrating the problem.
