It is now just a light cyan. I think the web bg color should be shown in the title bar; color is a good "where am I" indication. The web bg color is already shown in the web icon in the breadcrumb, but this is an icon people might not associate with the web bg color.

I just raised this to urgent.
It must be a mistake that it is not static grey on my TWiki. If it is cyan on yours it is completely random what it actually is.
Must be very easy to fix back.

WEBHEADERBGCOLOR
is set to a value of ''. So the variable exists, but is not given a real value. I suggest by default set it to #ffffff.

We are talking about the small header area on the left bar.
You implemented it yourself a few weeks ago and now it it is broken. It is the WEBBGCOLOR that should control that.
You made a change in 8578. I think that broke it

I fixed this before. Somehow an old version got in SVN again, perhaps by me. Fixed now. SVN 8600.
