The formatting help on the edit screen should be translated to the different languages.

this is something we hope to work on next release - translated versions of all the distributed topics - this help comes from
WikiSyntaxSummary
-- SD
As this is a part of the initial user experience, I believe it is important.
I did a a patch against:
- TWiki.pot
- da.pot
- WikiSyntaxSummary.txt
I checked this carefully, and I don't think it'll break the string freeze, as it is only
adding strings (in
WikiSyntaxSummary), not
changing any.
If anybody agrees (OK, thinking of you here, Antonio :-)) it can be committed without disturbing too much, please commit.

um, adding things
IS breaking the string freeze. what it does is increase the ammount of work, and thus time that is required to finalise the release.
Antonio, i would suggest you don't commit this, nuless you know that all the translators have time to do the work - even better - how about we don't commit it unless there is a po file for each language attached to this topic?
4 days?

When we mean
freeze, we mean
freeze.
"Just"
adding strings makes other completed translations incomplete. That's not
fair with translators, since we already told we'll not have anymore translations to do.
If we don't stop adding things, we'll never release.
Sorry, while I apreciate your work, it can't be made into Dakar. Besides, there are
other plans
for translating whole topics.

I get the point about translators that might feel intimidated or obliged to do more work by taking this in, had not thought of it that way - NP at all, it can wait for 4.0.1

Should this be merged to TWiki4 even if all the translations are not updated?

RA
Yep, a lot has happened translation-wise since 4.0.1 anyway, need a new
I18N-run when 4.0.2 becomes "stable".
I've merged this one in, SVN 9219.
Thanks for tracking back and merging all these old commits of mine, btw, appreciated!
