That script is marked as deprecated. If no longer needed it is better to remove it. It was not documented in earlier releases (except in the file list), so it should be safe to remove it. TWikiScripts
needs to be updated as well.
Under the usual rules of deprecation, the function has to be documented as deprecated and remain for at least one release after it was deprecated. I cannot find any deprecation statement in the Cairo documentation. It may not have been documented, but it may well have been used.
Has the preview script be tested? How is it invoked?
It is tested every time TestCaseIAmSane
is run. You have
been running the testcases, haven't you?
It is invoked the same way as it was in Cairo, however that was (it was never documented in Cairo, and I wasn't going to bother reverse-engineering doc for a deprecated script).
