Actually, the parser wasn't generating tables embedded in lists correctly.

Different behaviour in IE now (table is kept, but verbatim(!) and list items are modified with new linebreaks and whitespaces inserted).

Unchanged behaviour in Firefox - table is eliminated (but verbatim intact :-)).

You didn't mention verbatim in the original report! However you are going to have to be more explicit - I just tried IE 6, Firefox 1.5 and Firefox 1.0.4 and they all behave as expected. if the bug is with verbatim, please raise a new issue (otherwise I just get confused)
