I use FF on a 1024X1280 display, and I can barely read
"collaborate". Can we have a bigger default logo, please?
CC
I created different logo sizes and tested three of them for the upper left logo. The current logo is a balance between being noticable and not being intrusive. Anything bigger and the whole logo is dominating the page content. The "collaborate with" tagline is done in a small typeface by design; it does not need to be that readable in small logo sizes (people visually memorize the whole logo; the TWiki web's home page and TWiki.org home page have the full logo size).
Notice that the 80x15 logo has no tag line, and that the old logo was just a logo without text.
We should keep the logo size as it is.

I've created one other logo size, 40 pixels high (in between the current one and the bigger format).

I agree that the current logo (as of 8 Oct 2005) is too small, the one referenced by
AC above is better --

yep - the one
AC has demoed above is alot more visually appealing and the slightly fuzzier (grey) edges soften it nicley too, which is much more sympathetic, its removed the horrid jaggies too -- SD
agreed,
please use the bigger logo --

OK, I recreated a 40 pixel size logo with a crisp and readable font, T-logo-140x40-t.gif is attached to
TWiki:TWiki.TWikiLogos.
I also set the TWiki.org logo to the 40 pixel version. See attached screenshot to compare how it looked before and after. IMHO the large logo looks a bit too intrusive, e.g. draws too much attention, away from the actual content. Please be reminded that the old robot logo was just a small square box without text. But lets go with the 40 pixel logo if this is the wish of the community.

That's
much better, thanks. SVN 6903
