Detail

If you get customers to CC a page sooner or later they are going to start replying to threads where the content has been previously included in the page.

This means content will start being duplicated from this to the last reply cycle.

Wouldn't it be nice if TWiki detected previous content and stopped appending at that point?

This is now a lesser need with enhancement done in Item7490 where optionally quoted text can be hidden in a TWISTY.
