Can someone correct me please? CC

when i run configure.cgi from the .zip from TWiki:Plugins.MailerContrib, i get the following error:

Undefined subroutine &TWiki::basicInitialize called at /home/.balder/wbniv/tinderbox.wbniv.wikihosting.com/cgi-bin/lib/TWiki/Contrib/Mailer.pm line 68.

so, obviously that version is for TWiki:Codev.CairoRelease. how are different versions going to be handled? i know we've discussed this on TWiki:Codev.TWikiIRC, but i don't think anything has been decided...

The version commited in r6659 is working (last tested with r6721). I haven't run a full test, but the basic case I used (pick up the users in WebNotify, get their emails from their home topic and send the email) works perfectly.

Two things to note:

  • If the -m parameter is not passed to the mailnotify script, it won't send the email (that was the original behavior)
  • If TWiki is configured to use Sessions, you'll get the following "error" message after the script runs:
(in cleanup) Can't call method "store" on an undefined value at /usr/lib
/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/CGI/Session.pm line 192 during global destruction.
This "error" don't prevent the correct operation of the script.
