The error points to TWiki.pm line 3625 (which of course doesn't say much about where the problem has arisen). This occurs on just one of two separate Twiki installs (on the same system) - the second, and currently most stock, install. The one variance, which I'm suspecting is somehow responsible, was putting everything in a /wiki subdir for the second install rather than the default /twiki subdir the first is (under a different domain) - and setting all the paths in /configure to this of course. I see this results in a fresh
WikiUsers.txt rather than use of the default
TWikiUsers.txt. Simply copying
TWikiGroups.txt to
WikiGroups.txt and trying to view that doesn't change the error though. But with the standard
ScriptAlias Apache settings, running the second TWiki instance requires using something other than "/twiki" as its base directory - since that gets aliased to all virtual domains.
Ah, the problem is specifically with the GROUPS variable. Deleting that from the page allows the remainder of the page to load without error. Placing it in another page causes the error there.
Note: This is
not a problem in
4.2.0-rc1
4.2.0 is the 'next release' after 4.1.2, so closed
