Two ways to create a new topic works fine.
Two works not correctly.
These work
- Create New Topic link in left bar works fine
- Create new topic from NonExistingWikiWord works fine
In both these cases you end up with a topic in edit mode.
But these do not work well any longer
- Write a URL to non-existing topic in URL line in browser
- Write a non-existing topic name in Jump field
When you take these steps this happens.
- First you submit the Jump or URL
- You get the normal "Note: This topic does not exist" screen - so far so good
- You click the link to "Create SomeTopic"
- You now end up in the
...twiki/bin/view/Myweb/SomeTopic?create=on&newtopic=SomeTopic
screen which is correct
- This create screen contains no information. We are supposed to get a nice page where you can pick Topic Parent and Template. This creates a usability problem.

My guess it this has something to do with the changes to WebTopicCreator, from topic to template. Any idea where
create="on"
is read?

How does
create="on"
lead to
WebTopicViewTemplate
?

WebTopicViewTemplate behaves differently dependent on the create setting, that's all.
