Format
Paragraph
- I have some problems with the wording "paragraph". Given a bold or somehow formatted text, then "paragraph" is not explictly telling me what will happen when I select it.
- Does it insert a new paragraph like
< p />
? No, it removes the format and the text is just plain normal text.
- We should use something like "normal" or "standard" instead as in MS Office or Open Office because this is what users are used to. And it's telling what will happen when I select it.
Address
- What is this good for? All it does is making me think - "what is address? hmm, it looks like italic, but why do I need that if I've got an Italic button already?"
- It should be removed as it adds no extra value.
Preformatted
- The Problem with this one is that it makes the entire paragraph preformatted.
- What if I just want to have one word preformatted?
Style
-- Styles--
Again, this is not explicitly telling me what happens when I select -- Styles --. It should be called "remove Styles" to make clear what this option is about.

styles
does not remove a style, but allows you to write
verbatim
blocks. But it would be better if the items in
styles
were placed in the
format
dropdown, with a separator to distinguish the format types.

I try to find where the 2 dropdowns are defined.
theme_advanced_blockformats
does the first dropdown. But defining this in the
INIT
does not work out...
