Detail

I'd like to see a depth option for Meta Search

This:

%METASEARCH{type="parent" web="%WEB%" topic="MediaOps" title="Children: "}%

only shows me one level. I want a list of ALL descendent s(children, grandchildren, etc) of a given topic.

First the METASEARCH is already doomed to get deprecated at some point in favour of the query type search.

The current METASEARCH will not be removed because of backwards compatibility but enhancements will go on the query search.

If the query search does not have what you need please open a feature proposal on Codev.

The Bugs application is not a feature request application. It is a bug tracker that also tracks the implementation of enhancements so we get a track between SVN checkins and the description of the change.
