I'm using subwebs for organizational purposes. However, because of that, I'd prefer to have the "organizational-only" parent webs restricted while keeping the subwebs open. I have not found a way to do this. As soon as I put an ALLOWWEBCHANGE preference setting in the parent web, it's propogated to the sub web. I can put a different ALLOWWEBCHANGE setting in the sub web, but I can't open it back up to everyone without having to manually maintain a
TWikiGroup that holds all users in the site.
Please provide a way for subwebs to have unrestricted access when their parent web is restricted.

Urg. Never mind. I just tried setting ALLOWWEBCHANGE to empty and it worked.
(This effect should be documented in
TWikiAccessControl - which states that an empty ALLOWWEBCHANGE will deny access to everyone. The code will only use ALLOWWEBCHANGE if it has at least a space in it.)

Hmmm. I think the documentation is pretty clear on how it works, though if you can propose a better description, I'm sure it could easily be patched in. Until then, setting this to "No Action". Please re-open it should you have a specific proposal.
