I recently broke some plugins but the plugin tests failed to discover that they were broken:
InstalledPlugins says all plugins are working fine but going
to Printable Page on a topic with a table in it, http://localhost/twiki/bin/view/TWiki/InstalledPlugins?skin=print.pattern, shows me:
Can't locate TWiki/Plugins/TablePlugin/Core.pm in @INC ( blah blah blah
regular view on most topics is fine witht the notable exception of TWiki.TablePlugin topic which shows the same error.
SVN 6164.
ACTIVATEDPLUGINS% = CommentPlugin, EditTablePlugin, InterwikiPlugin, PreferencesPlugin, SmiliesPlugin, SpreadSheetPlugin, TablePlugin, WysiwygPlugin
Later: AHA! the problem behind the bug was that I needed to run mklinks.sh
again. Instead of TWiki/Plugins/TablePlugin/
I had TWiki/Plugins/TablePlugin.pm
So, my immediate problem is solved but this does show a deficiency in the is-this-plugin-installed-and-working check.
renamed bug to reflect the true nature of the bug.
Is
mklinks.sh
required to run? Because I am not allowed to let it run on my hosted twiki site. --
AC
It is required to run if you are running code from an SVN checkout area. Surely you can run it in "copy" mode?

OK then I don't need it. But I was wondering why I don't see plugins listed in
configure
.
AC
You ought to; are the plugins where you expect them to be? (lib/TWiki/Plugins/*.pm) Are all the plugins topics in place?
