Copy-and-pasting works, but yuck!

You don't use search very often, do you? Otherwise you would easily have found TWiki:Codev.CloneTopicLinkUnderMore.

You also don't return to your own TWiki:Codev.FeatureRequests, otherwise you would have read my comment at TWiki:Codev.AddCopyTopic.

Well, we members of the TWiki:Codev.TWikiCommunity are used to answer all kinds of (...) questions patiently (over and over again, cause (...) people don't RTFM)

I think it should be in the standard oopmore, not something that people add. As to it being non-wiki-like, I use it primarily with searches that I'm going to then modify, and things like that. When you're developing a TWikiApplication, one often has boilerplate code that one reuses with modifications.

As to searching, this directly relates to all of the cruft debate. I've pretty much given up on searching because I get so many false hits.
