Hello,

I just realized that anyone can change the state of the Checklist Items in a checklist. Since this is done without a full edit-preview-save-cycle, I consider this a bug, not a feature.

Anyone viewing the topic can - inadvertantly or with intent - change the states.

I did not read anything about this in the description.

There are two ways to go here:

  1. Publish this as a "feature" - although I personally cannot use it like this.
  2. Change the plugin to only change states with user rights - prompting user to logon if he isn't logged on already.

Hello Alexander,

it was my intention that you don't need to run through the edit-preview-save-cycle. It's the main feature of the ChecklistPlugin to change a state with a single click. Just take a look at the short description or syntax rules section of the TWiki:Plugins.ChecklistPlugin topic.
