Does this site look broken?. Use the LitterTray web for test cases.

The SiteMap (also in WelcomeGuest) does not list anymore the public webs.

This bug was introduced by removing SITEMAPLIST (Item898, SVN r7580)

See also Item1260 which describes the same problem with a differnt manifestation.

-- AJA

This is because SITEMAPLIST is not used as a TWikiVariable. The Set statement was purely used as a target for a search. The fact that it also defined a web-level variable was irrelevant, and undocumented (as usual).

The syntax is inappropriately overloaded, but to avoid further issues I have added it back in, with a big advisory note in _default/WebPreferences to try and help people who might make the same mistake I did.

SVN 8041

Crawford, the be specific, it is undocumented because you removed the description for the settings in WebPreferences. Original documentation in every WebPreferences topic:

List this web in the SiteMap: If yes, Set SITEMAPLIST = on, and add the "what" and "use to..." description for the site map. Make sure to list only links that include the name of the web, e.g. TWiki.Topic links.
