- The table of contents in TWikiDocumentation.html contains absolute links to twiki.org instead of mere "#label" references. Highly misleading, since it points to Cairo information if inadvertedly clicked upon.
- DakarReleaseNotes.html contains absolute links to twiki.org for the contributors (which is ok), but broken absolute links to scobydoo/CLEAN in the table of contents.
This is essentially the same two problems that I reported in Item692 which was subsequently closed because SD claimed not to be able to reproduce them. They are bloody easy to reproduce - just open up TWikiDocumenation and click on a toc link.
I think that the root level TWikiDocumenation.html file in inherently broken, at lease the way it is currently being created.
As currently implemented, it is guaranteed to give new users a completely frustrating initial experience of TWiki! In addition to the TOC being broken, all the absolute links to TWiki.org are likely to be the
wrong version of documentation (Cairo vs Dakar). If this isn't a formula for frustation, I don't know what is.
The problem with the toc is fairly simply solved
manually (with a search and replace) but I don't know if this is viable if the builds are automated. The other problem seems more intractable. Although this is a departure from the Cairo model, I would *highly recommend we drop this file from the distribution and provide just the installation instructions and links to the
appropriate set of complete documentation on TWiki.org. Feedback?
I'm raising this bug to urgent because I can't see inflicting this file on new users in its current form.

(1) SVN 7896
(2) I can't find any absolute links to scoobydoo/CLEAN in the TOC. There are links in the content, because there are examples in the text that have to be expanded to point
somwhere. I fixed them all to point at twiki.org. SVN 7895
