it would be useful to combine exclude patterns, for example exclude all files in twikiplugins except those specificly included. e.g:

Disallow:   twikiplugins/*
Allow:      twikiplugins/     SyncContrib, WysiwygPlugin, ...

While I agree with you I'd far rather we just move twikiplugins out of the twiki directory: bringing in 20x the size for most of the stuff I never use is just a waste of my diskspace and valuable twiki.org bandwidth.
